They get up to the apartment and he puts Karkat on the futon. He brings him a squishy piece of bread with butter on it and goes to make a burger.
[you nibble at the bread and caw quietly, flapping your tattered wings]
The burger is done a little while after Karkat finishes his bread. Dave soaks off the extra grease with a paper towel and adds some cheese amd ketchup befor giving it to Karkat on a little paper plate.
[You quickly pick it up and take a huge bite out of it, struggling to chew the mouthful. you put your hands over your mouth to avoid dropping any food]
